Aleidra is a social-change advocate and grassroots organizer. She’s a field organizer for the Movement for Black Lives and a facilitator for various social-justice-focused programs. Aleidra founded and owns Purpose in Everything (PIE), an online retailer that adds purpose to everyday purchases, through which she provides diversity education consulting as well as diversity education for fraternities and sororities through the Black Greeks for Black Lives campaign. Prior to becoming radicalized following the murder of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, she worked at Saint Louis University, most recently as program director of the cross-cultural center. Aleidra is a board member of Action St. Louis, a grassroots racial justice organization, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Gamma Omega Chapter. She earned her Master of Arts in education from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in community communications and leadership development from University of Kentucky.
