Andrea Terrero

Andrea was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to Miami when she was six years old. She is currently studying English Literature at Miami Dade College, where she is a part of the Honors Program. Andrea is involved with the school magazine, Urbana Literary Arts & Magazine, and leads the Queer Collective, an intersectional activist club. Outside of school, Andrea is an organizer for the CLEO Institute, a non-profit dedicated to environmental advocacy. She would like to pursue a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Environmental Studies to help educate others on environmental issues and ensure the voices of minority communities are heard.
