Demi Trimm

Demi was born and raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Demi currently serves as an AmeriCorps Student Success Coach at City Year Miami. She is dedicated to serving the future scholars of her community by building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable educational experience. She is a proud first-generation college graduate from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Finance. She is deeply rooted in her passion to help her community through service. She enjoys reading growth mindset books, event planning, and bullet journaling. She believes her creativity, determination, and work ethic has shaped her to be the successful black young woman she is today. The hope she holds for her community is to reflect on history in order to create a better future.
