Maria Fernanda Torres

Maria finds that in all of her academic and personal endeavors, identifying her purpose in life is important. With every new experience, she deepend her understanding of who she is and what her passions are. Even though she is still completing the picture of what her passions look like, she knows it involves providing health and care to people, working towards a world where nature and humans are one, and fighting for the most vulnerable. Other passions she is developing involve learning about the world around her and its rich history, improving the body and mind with exercise and nutrition, and engaging with people all over the world to gain new perspectives on her thoughts and view of life.  She is proud of not being afraid to take the next step, whether that is actively searching for opportunities, taking an opportunity, or putting herself in uncomfortable situations where she knows she can benefit.
