Sarah Lestrade

Sarah is a student at Miami Dade Honors College studying nursing who will graduate in 2024 with an associate’s degree. She has been involved in the Student Government Association and currently serves as its vice-president. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Yes Gardening Club, and Global Medical Brigade. Sarah also volunteers at the Chapman Partnership, which helps homeless individuals find shelter. She engages in the Urban Paradise Guild organization which fights climate change and protects the environment. When not in school or volunteering, she enjoys cooking and badminton as a means of relaxation. Her other interests include writing poetry and meditating to express her thoughts. Sarah is passionate about helping her community and hopes to make a positive difference through her skills and knowledge.
