Aasiyah Wright

Aasiyah is a recent graduate of Delta State University’s Robert E. Smith School of Nursing and is launching her nursing career at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She has held offices in academic organizations such as Honors College and is in her second year as a youth facilitator for AYLF. Aasiyah was an Aspen Young Leaders fellow in the 2020-2021 Delta cohort, where she gained a tremendous amount of experience with navigating the servicing of her community. She previously attended Coahoma Community College and is a member of several academic honor societies, including Phi Theta Kappa, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Aasiyah strives to challenge herself and strengthen her capabilities, operating in excellence despite the setting.
