Bre’Anna Coleman is an honors student in the Sally McDonnell Honors College at the University of Mississippi where she is double majoring in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Journalism, Creative Writing, and African American studies. She is the President of the Black Student Union and active in many other student organizations. Bre’Anna reports and photographs for the Daily Mississippian, a campus newspaper. She believes in using art and creative expression as a tool for activism, and writes poetry and short stories. Originally from Drew, Mississippi, and upon completing her undergraduate degree, Bre-Anna will pursue law school and work in public service. Her ultimate goal in all that she does is to be a resource to all and help underrepresented communities.
