Kevin is the high school relations director for Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. Dedicated to social change and social justice, he recognizes the power of collaboration to bring together diverse stakeholders. Previously, he was operations director and a social studies teacher at KIPP Delta Public Schools, his alma mater. As a former Aspen Young Leaders fellow and Aspen Index fellow, Kevin organized with other youth community initiatives during summer 2020 across the Delta. He has organized voter registration drives in his hometown of Helena, Arkansas, and is a founding member of the community’s Racial Equity Task Force. Kevin studied sociology and social justice at Hendrix College, during which time he was president of Southern Poverty Law Center on Campus and program leader of Brothas Respectfully Unifying at Hendrix. Kevin has a master’s degree in human relations from University of Oklahoma.
