Kyah strives to be a role model and mentor to youth while gaining leadership knowledge, with a goal to break the systematic cycle of poverty and have a lasting community impact. An early career professional, she is a commercial specialist in the leadership development program at Schneider Electric. Kyah graduated with honors from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2023, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management information systems and multiple minors. While in college, she co-founded Black Gems, an organization for black women in STEM, and was a board member of the National Society of Black Engineers. At this time also started in her role as youth facilitator for AYLF, where she has been a longtime fellow — beginning the program while in high school in St. Louis in 2017.
