Nicholas is a Master of Public Health student Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, focusing on health policy. His interest lies in the field of sexual and reproductive health, recognizing its role in shaping lives and communities. He is also committed to addressing issues related to rural health, maternal and child health and centering community engagement in policymaking process. Nicholas double-majored in sociology and biology at Tougaloo College in his native Mississippi and has done some research and patient advocacy work. During college, he was a fellow of AYLF’s 2020 Arkansas/Mississippi Delta cohort. Now, as an AYLF youth facilitator, he contributes to nurturing and developing the next generation of leaders, empowering them to create positive change within their communities.
