Gayathri Samuel

Gayathri is a student at Florida International University where she is pursuing her master’s degree in International Real Estate. As a high school student she began her own non-profit organization, Hygiene for Women, which strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy. Through the organization, she has been able to provide monthly hygiene products, such as pads and tampons, to local shelters and rescue missions in lower-income areas in the United States and to shelters and orphanages in India, Peru, Sri Lanka, and Mexico.
