Cheryl Green

Cheryl informs AYLF learning strategy and ensures the design and implementation of its culturally responsive programming. An educator at her core, she also uses her expertise in organizational development as the director of AYLF. Prior to becoming AYLF’s director in 2022, Cheryl was associate director for learning strategy. Previously, she was vice president of training and development at Momentum Nonprofit Partners. Before that, she held multiple roles at Insight Education Group, including managing director, and at New Leaders for New Schools. Earlier in her career, Cheryl was a principal, teacher, and district leader in multiple school districts in Mississippi. She has a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Alabama A&M University and a master’s in education from Delta State University, and she’s certified in the field of human systems dynamics.
